Relaxing and great spot to kayak, paddle board. Play at the park or picnic. It’s a bit of a hike to the beach front so not ideal if you’re hiking it with kids and trying to carry a bunch of things. There is a place to rent kayaks after you arrive on the beach.

The boardwalk to the lake is so nice, it’s a beautiful walk during August, lots of greenery . The beach area is decent, not the best beach area of the lake but fun for kids to skip rocks and they do have kayak rentals right by it.

This is a fun little park that we love to come to when we go to visit bear lake. We love to take pictures in front of the SMILE, You're Bear Lake sign. They do have slides and playground equipment plus a restroom. This park also has beach access to bear lake.

Nice little park, pavilion and grassy area with a boardwalk through wetlands to the beach. My 4 and 5 year old walked it easily, I was glad to have a stroller for the stubborn 2-year-old. Some photos in here show a sandy beach. It isn't. It's rocks and dirt and a little hard, shallow sand. My kids loved wading into the lake and throwing rocks. I was expecting sand because of the pictures and brought shovels and buckets that were pointless. Still fun, just wanted to leave this review to help you know what kind of fun to expect.

Nice place to spend the day. Grass for activities and a boardwalk out to the lake. Beach is decent (probably as good as other free spots on the lake but sand isn't as good as paid areas). Picnic tables out by the water too
